Cable Comfort Throw

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Daughter # 3 has chosen the free Lion Brand Pattern for the

CABLE COMFORT THROW
for her afghan.

Made from 9 skeins of Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick (color Denim)

on size 13 needles it should knit up quickly.

This is my first CABLE project. My daughter said, "You better call someone from the knitting group right away, you don't know what you're doing!!"

Daughter # 1 is looking through books and patterns to choose her afghan. Meanwhile, here in Cleveland, we are in the middle of a BLIZZARD and the high temperature for Monday is only 2 degrees and negative 16 with the wind chill. We'll probably have a "SNOW DAY".

You'll manage with cables just fine! They look intense, but are very fun to do!

That looks so comfy, I wanna curl up in it, too...

That looks like it's going to be a great beginner cable project. I think I'll knit one too!

Guess what, Judy? I am making that yet. I purchased Berrocco Alpaca for it. I haven't cast on yet but soon!

Cables are easy. You will master it in no time!

It's lots easier than you think! I just had my 2 girls pick out their afghans too. You and daughter are gonna love that cable afghan. One of the girls in my knitting group is making one, and they are really nice!
