Great Lakes Fiber Show

Report and Photos from today's Great Lakes Fiber Show at the Wayne County Fairgrounds in
Wooster, Ohio
I tried SPINDLE SPINNING and received a complimentary free spindle and fiber.
Of course each time I tried to spin it, the fibers ripped apart and the spindle went flying to the floor!! Now I know why it's called a "DROP SPINDLE" !!

Wow, Judy! Looks awesome. Thanks for sharing! We (to my knowledge), don't seem to get shows like that around here. I might have to phone around to find out if we do...

one day, i'd love to check out a fiber show, and maybe even get a pet alpaca! i found a knitting group recently and one of the members offered to teach me to spin. I'm very excited about that. Sounds like you had fun. Also, I'll be sending your June surprise box today--hitting the post office at lunch hour :) your secret pal
